  31. StandAlone is just that a standalone product, Toaster 4.0 software requires
  32. a previous toaster to operate and is an UPGRADE.  Lot's of people would be
  33. quite angy if they had to pay $1500 for a Toaster 4.0 upgrade...

  35. The only thing I'd like to see different is that Amiga LW4.0 w/ Toaster
  36. would load without the switcher... I mean write it into code to say..

  38. If there is a toaster present OR a dongle then run.  They would only have one
  39. version of LW Amiga AND we'd be able to save memory by NOT loading Switcher
  40. Software just to run Lightwave.

  43. BTW  I have a Pentium 120 with 64 negs of ram and 256k pipeline burst cache.

  45. Running the Rev. C LWPC 4.0 I can render scenes 5-6 times faster on it than a
  46. A4000/40mhz Warp Engine with 16 megs...
